It is no secret that the demands and expectations on supervisory boards are immense in view of the current disruption and transformation processes. In their current trend analysis "Governance Perspectives 2023", the European Center for Board Effectiveness (ECBE) and the University of Göttingen examined the question of how supervisory board work must develop in the face of these changes. The main findings of the study are summarised in this article.
